Somebody to look up to, somebody who could bring back just a little glimpse of the past times. Still war torn and bereaved it´s imperial glory, Great Britain desperately searched for another hero. Having interviewed him just a few weeks prior to his fateful last voyage. My feelings are mixed and I am still shocked and in awe after learning that Guo passed. It is just days after I had to learn that Circumnavigator Guo Chuan, the first and only Chinese Pro-Sailor, was lost in the wide vastness oft he Pacific Ocean that I finish this book.
